Learn how to add Vinci Tools Video Carousel widgets to your Shopify store using the Theme Editor. This guide covers both automatic installation through Vinci Tools Video Carousel and manual installation when needed. Vinci Tools widgets are installed as App Blocks in your Shopify theme. This means they integrate seamlessly with your existing theme design while maintaining full functionality.

Automatic Installation Process

Step-by-Step Installation

1. **Select Pages in Vinci Tools Video Carousel **

• In your playlist’s “Show On Pages” tab, check the boxes for pages where you want to display the widget.

2. Click Add Section Button

• For each selected page, click ”+ Add Section in theme editor”. This button appears next to each checked page.

3. Theme Editor Opens

• Shopify’s Theme Editor will open in a new tab with: - The correct page loaded - Vinci Tools Video Carousel section pre-added at the top - Widget configured with your playlist - Ready to save immediately

4. Position the Widget (Optional)

• If needed, drag the Vinci Tools Video Carousel section to a different position on the page: - Sections can be moved up or down - Consider page flow and user experience - Test on both desktop and mobile

5. Save Your Changes

• Click “Save” in the Theme Editor to publish your changes to the live store.

6. **Return to Vinci Tools Video Carousel **

• Go back to your Vinci Tools Video Carousel dashboard. The page should now show a “Live” status indicator.

7. Verify Installation

• Click the “Live” tag or page name to visit your store and see the widget in action.

Pre-Configuration: When using automatic installation, the Vinci Tools Video Carousel section is pre-configured with your playlist selection. You don’t need to choose the playlist again in the Theme Editor.

Manual Installation Process

When automatic installation doesn’t work or you need more control:

Opening Theme Editor Manually

1. Access Shopify Admin

Go to your Shopify admin dashboard.

2. Navigate to Themes

Click “Online Store” → “Themes” in the main navigation.

3. Customize Current Theme

Find your published theme and click “Customize”.

4. Select Target Page

Use the page selector at the top to choose the page where you want to add the widget.

Adding Vinci Tools Video Carousel Sections Manually

1. Add New Section

• In the left panel, click “Add section” at the bottom of the sections list.

2. Find Vinci Tools Video Carousel Widget

• In the section library: - Look for “Apps” category - Find “Vinci Tools Video Carousel Widget” in the list - Click to add it to your page

3. Configure Widget Settings

• With the Vinci Tools Video Carousel section selected: - Widget Type: Choose Reels, Stories, or Floats - Playlist: Select the playlist to display - Additional settings may be available depending on widget type

4. Position the Section

• Drag the Vinci Tools Video Carousel section to your desired position on the page.

5. Save Changes

• Click “Save” to publish the widget to your live store.

Manual Configuration: When installing manually, you must select the correct playlist in the widget settings. Make sure to choose the playlist you created in Vinci Tools Video Carousel .
