Step 1: Add Your First Content

  1. Navigate to Content Library
  • From your Vinci Tools Video Carousel dashboard, click on “Content Library” in the main navigation.
  1. Upload Content
    • Click the ”+ Add New Content” button and choose:
    • Direct Upload: Upload videos or photos from your computer
    • Instagram Import: Import content from your Instagram account
    • Other Sources: TikTok, YouTube, or Google Drive
  2. Add Content Details
    • Enter a descriptive name for your content
    • Add a description (optional)
    • Click “Save” to upload

Pro Tip: Start with 3-5 pieces of content to create your first playlist. You can always add more later!

Step 2: Tag Products from your Shopify Store

Making your content shoppable is what drives sales. Here’s how to tag products:
  1. Open Product Tagging
    • In your Content Library, click the “Tag Products” button on any content item.
  2. Select Products
    • Browse or search for products from your Shopify store
    • Check the boxes next to products that appear in your content
    • You can tag multiple products per content item
  3. Save Product Tags
    • Click “Save Tags” to make your content shoppable.

Step 3: Create Your First Playlist

Playlists organize your content into themed collections:
  1. Go to Playlists
    • Click “Playlists” in the main navigation.
  2. Choose Widget Type
    • Select a tab at the top:
    • Reels: Vertical video carousels
    • Stories: Circular story rings
    • Floats: Floating mini-players
  3. Create New Playlist
    • Click “Create [Widget Type] Playlist”
    • Enter a name
    • Add a description (optional)
    • Click “Create”
  4. Add Content to Playlist
    • Select content from your library
    • Drag to reorder items
    • Click “Save” when finished

Step 4: Customize your Widget Style

Playlists organize your content into themed collections:
  1. Open Styling Panel
    • In your playlist, click the “Styling” tab.
  2. Customize Appearance
    • Adjust settings like:
    • Colors: Primary, secondary, background colors
    • Typography: Font family, sizes, weights
    • Layout: Spacing, border radius, aspect ratio
    • Player Controls: Autoplay, muted, controls visibility
  3. Preview Changes
    • Use the live preview to see changes in:
      • Desktop view
      • Mobile view
      • Fullscreen mode
  4. Save Styling
    • Click “Save” to apply your customizations.

Step 5: Add Widget to Your Store

The final step is displaying your playlist on your store pages:
  1. Select Pages
    • In your playlist, click the “Show On Pages” tab to see your store pages.
  2. Choose Pages
    • Check the boxes next to pages where you want to display your playlist:
      • Home page (recommended for maximum visibility)
      • Product pages
      • Collection pages
      • Custom pages
  3. Add to Theme Editor
    • For each selected page, click ”+ Add Section in theme editor”:
      • This opens Shopify’s Theme Editor
      • The Vinci Tools Video Carousel section will be pre-added at the top
      • Simply click “Save” in the Theme Editor
      • Return to Vinci Tools Video Carousel to see the “Live” status
  4. Verify Installation
    • Click the “Live” tag or page name to visit your store and see your widget in action!

Congratulations! 🎉

Your first Vinci Tools widget is now live on your store. Customers can now:
  • View your shoppable content
  • Click on tagged products to purchase
  • Engage with your brand through video and photos
