Creating Playlists

Playlists are themed collections of your content that get displayed as widgets on your store. Think of them as curated galleries that showcase specific products, themes, or campaigns to your customers.

Creating Your First Playlist

1. Navigate to Playlists
   • From your Vinci Tools Video Carousel dashboard, click “Playlists” in the main navigation.
2. Choose Widget Type
   • Select the appropriate tab at the top:
   • Reels for vertical video carousels
   • Stories for circular story rings
   • Floats for floating mini-players
3. Create New Playlist
   • Click “Create [Widget Type] Playlist”
   • The button text changes based on your selected tab
   • A creation modal will appear
4. Configure Playlist Details
   • Name: Enter a descriptive name - Default names follow the pattern: “vReel Playlist1”, “vStory Playlist1”, etc. - Use names that describe the content theme (e.g., “Summer Collection Reels”, “Product Demo Stories”)

5. Create the Playlist
   • Click “Create” to generate your new playlist. You’ll be taken to the playlist management interface.

Adding Content to Playlists

Once your playlist is created, you need to populate it with content:

1. Access Content Selection
   • In your playlist, you’ll see the “Content” tab or section where you can manage playlist items.
2. Browse Your Content Library
   • All your uploaded and imported content appears in a grid
   • Use filters to find specific content:
   • Media Type: Videos or Photos
   • Source: Direct uploads, Instagram, etc.
   • Search: Find content by name
3. Select Content
   • Click on content items to add them to your playlist
   • Selected items will be highlighted or marked
   • You can select multiple items at once
4. Arrange Content Order
   • Drag and drop content items to reorder them
   • The first item will be the featured/default content
   • Consider the flow and story you want to tell
5. Save Your Playlist
   • Click “Save” to finalize your content selection and order.

Advanced Playlist Features

Playlist Duplication

Save time by duplicating successful playlists:

1. Select an existing playlist
2. Click “Duplicate” or “Copy”
3. Modify the name and description
4. Update content as needed for the new theme

Bulk Content Management

Efficiently manage content across playlists:

• Bulk Add: Add the same content to multiple playlists
• Bulk Remove: Remove content from multiple playlists at once
• Bulk Reorder: Apply the same ordering to similar playlists

Playlist Templates

Create templates for consistent playlist creation:

• Product Launch Template: Standard flow for new product introductions
• Seasonal Template: Reusable structure for seasonal campaigns
• Category Template: Consistent format for different product categories
