Adding Content

Your Content Library is the central hub where you manage all your videos and photos. This guide covers everything you need to know about adding and organizing your shoppable content.

Supported Content Types

Vinci Tools Video Carousel supports both videos and photos in various formats:

Videos

• MP4 (recommended)
• WebM
• MOV (QuickTime)
• Maximum size: 100MB per file
• Recommended dimensions: 9:16 (vertical) or 16:9 (horizontal)

Photos

• JPEG/JPG (recommended)
• PNG
• WebP
• Maximum size: 100MB per file
• Recommended dimensions: 1080x1080 or higher

Quality Tip: Higher resolution content (1080p or 4K) will look better on all devices and create a more professional appearance.

​Adding Content Methods

Method 1: Direct Upload

Upload content directly from your computer:

1. Access Upload Modal

• In Content Library, click ”+ Add New Content” → “Direct Upload”

2. Select Files

• Click “Choose Files” or drag and drop
• Select multiple files for batch upload
• Supported formats will be highlighted

3. Add Details

• For each file:
• Name: Enter a descriptive name (auto-generated if left blank)
• Description: Optional details about the content
• Type: Automatically detected (Video/Photo)

4. Upload and Process

• Click “Upload” to start processing
• Files are uploaded to Shopify’s CDN for fast loading
• Processing status will show in real-time

File Size Limit: Keep files under 100MB for optimal performance. Large files may take longer to upload and process.

​Method 2: Instagram Import

Import content directly from your Instagram account:

1. Connect Instagram

• Click ”+ Add New Content” → “Instagram Import”

2. Authorize Access

• Log in to your Instagram account - Grant Vinci Tools Video Carousel permission to access your content - Accept the content usage agreement

3. Select Content

• Browse your recent Instagram posts - Select videos and photos you want to import - Content will maintain original quality

4. Import and Process

• Click “Import Selected”
• Content is downloaded and processed automatically
• Original Instagram captions are preserved as descriptions

Content Rights: Only import content you own or have permission to use. Vinci Tools Video Carousel requires you to confirm you have rights to all imported content.

​Method 3: Other Social Platforms

• TikTok
• YouTube
• Google Drive

Coming Soon: Direct TikTok integration is in development. For now, download your TikTok videos and use Direct Upload.

​Content Organization

Filtering and Searching

Use the Content Library filters to organize your content:

• Media Type: Filter by Videos or Photos
• Source: Filter by upload method (Direct, Instagram, etc.)
• Search: Find content by name or description
• Date Range: Filter by upload date

​Content Management

Editing Content Details

1. Select Content

Click on any content item in your library

2. Edit Information

Update:

• Title: Change the display name
• Description: Add or modify description
• Tags: Add searchable keywords

3. Save Changes

Click “Save” to update the content information

Best Practices

Content Quality

• Use high-resolution files (1080p minimum)
• Keep videos under 60 seconds for better engagement
• Ensure good lighting and audio quality
• Show products clearly in your content

Organization Tips

• Use descriptive names that include product or theme information
• Add detailed descriptions to help with searching later
• Tag content consistently for easy filtering
• Regular cleanup
• archive outdated content

Performance Optimization

• Compress large files before uploading when possible
• Use appropriate formats (MP4 for videos, JPEG for photos)
• Test content on mobile to ensure good viewing experience
