How to Tag Products

Single Content Item Tagging

  1. Open Product Tagging
    • In your Content Library, click the “Tag Products” button on any content item.
  2. Search for Products
    • In the product tagging modal:
      • Browse all products from your Shopify store
      • Search by name using the search bar
      • Filter by collection to narrow down options
      • Products show with images, titles, and prices
  3. Select Products
    • Check the box next to each product that appears in your content
    • You can select multiple products per content item
    • Selected products will be highlighted
  4. Save Product Tags
    • Review your selections
    • Click “Save Tags” to make your content shoppable
    • Tags are immediately active on your store

Bulk Product Tagging

Tag multiple content items at once to save time:
  1. Select Multiple Items
    • In Content Library:
    • Check the boxes next to multiple content items
    • Or use “Select All” for the entire page
  2. Open Bulk Tagging
    • Click “Tag Products” in the bulk actions toolbar
  3. Choose Products
    • Select products that appear across the selected content
    • These products will be tagged to ALL selected content items
    • Best for content featuring the same products
  4. Apply to All
    • Click “Save Tags” to apply the selected products to all chosen content items
Bulk Tagging Caution: Only use bulk tagging when the same products appear in multiple content items. Incorrectly tagged products can confuse customers and hurt trust.

Product Tagging Best Practices

What to TagDO Tag These Products:
  • Products clearly visible in the content
  • Products being demonstrated or used
  • Products mentioned in video narration
  • Products that are the main focus of the content
DON’T Tag These Products:
  • Products not visible in the content
  • Competitor products
  • Products that are out of stock (unless restocking soon)
  • Unrelated products just to increase options

Managing Product Tags

Viewing Tagged Products

See which products are tagged to your content:
  • Content Library: Tagged products show as small product icons below each content item
  • Content Details: Click any content item to see full list of tagged products
  • Product Count: The number badge shows how many products are tagged

Editing Product Tags

  1. Open Content Item
    • Click on any content item in your library
  2. Modify Tags
    • Click “Edit Product Tags”
    • Add new products by checking additional boxes
    • Remove products by unchecking boxes
    • Search for different products if needed
  3. Save Changes
    • Click “Save Tags” to update the product associations

Removing Product Tags

To remove all product tags from content:
  1. Open the content item’s product tagging modal
  2. Uncheck all selected products
  3. Click “Save Tags” to remove all associations
Tag Updates: Changes to product tags are reflected immediately in your live widgets. Customers will see updated product options right away.
